New Club House

A Dream Becomes Reality
In the summer of 2016, a dream became reality!  What began as a rescue mission to save our club over eight years ago has resulted in a vibrant and growing ski club that our membership and their families will enjoy for decades to come.  It started with a vision exercise that resulted in the complete renovation of the existing building (an original building with 7 additions over a 40+ year period) and the addition of a classic post and beam ski lodge.
On Saturday July 23rd, 2016 we celebrated this great achievement with our Grand Opening, the first of many great events to come.  Congratulations to the membership for making this dream come true.
The Beginnings of Our Dream
Beginning in 2012, The Heights Ski & Country Club Board of Directors and Management began a process to re-invigorate the club.  We started with a vision exercise and then surveyed our membership to understand the direction you wanted us to take.  Three key areas surfaced as things we need to address; 1) the dining, kitchen and bathroom areas 2) Traffic congestion and parking and 3) the on hill experience.
We listened.  Since then we have re-opened chair 10 and built a dedicated Terrain Park, regraded the hill in a number of locations, improved snow making capabilities and now we are ready to take our biggest step forward.  With the goal of building a sustainable future for a family oriented club, we are looking to retro-fit and expand our club house.  The retro-fitted club house will include the following highlights:
Expanded building – 20,334 to 31,403 sq.ft.
4,300 sq.ft.. per level
Increased member seating – from 282 to 668 seats
Increased locker facilities – from 339 to 497 units
Expanded parking – from 221 to 250 spaces
New washroom fixtures – from 21 to 31
Expanded child mind
Expanded deck
Enhanced teen facility
New kitchen equipment
Expanded retail
